School Camps
The Directors of Tulukani Adventures have vast collective experience in outdoor education programmes for schools and youth groups.
There is a proud history between them that forms a strong foundation for quality education programmes, safety and standards and good old fashioned fun!
We strive to create a sense of community spirit for all our school camp participants. Yes, we do have rules and facilities in place for safety and comfort, and these rules form the foundation upon which every person participating in the camp creates their own experience.
Our school camps are rooted in three main principles:
PARTICIPATE, BE INDEPENDENT and CARE… for people and the environment.
The programmes provide a balance of free play and facilitated sessions with a variety of activities that offer something for everyone. It is vital that each group member has an opportunity to shine, and this is evident in the breadth and variety of our school programme content.
The best way to learn something is to experience things in real life and we love to provide experiential learning opportunities for the students that visit us. We work in consultation with the schools that visit us as it is very important to us that our content is relevant to current lessons or curriculum that is being covered at the visiting school. Tulukani Adventures can create bespoke experiences and camp programmes for schools.
Below are some of our tried and tested school camps which have become a regular fixture on the calendars of many Lusaka based schools. Contact us if you think your school would benefit from joining our network of schools such as the Lusaka International Community School, International School of Lusaka, Baobab College, the American International School of Lusaka, Lycée Français de Lusaka (The French School of Lusaka), Simba International School and Martin House School who all trust us to deliver quality experiential learning to their students.

The Classroom Outside (Grade 5)
This is a flagship school camp in the Tulukani product offering and is widely regarded as a premium education experience for Grade 5 students.
The Power of Water (Grades 6-7)
The Mulungushi Boat club is located on one of the oldest hydro-power dams in Zambia and offers a variety of opportunities for outdoor adventure and learning in the field of hydro-power.
The World and Me
This programme is intended to develop a sense of independence, self-awareness and consideration for our environment. We work around a theme of adaptability in all aspects of learning including studies on how fauna and flora adapt to environments, how we can adapt to reduce our impact and adapting to working well with others while respecting everyone’s opinions and backgrounds.
Trail Blazers (Grades 8-10)
The programme is designed to bring participants out. Out of the box… out of their shell… out of their comfort zone… to create leaders and team members who can overcome challenges with the overarching intention of increasing self-esteem and confidence.
